4cc83c3699 tweak the gtk stack building script to adjust the versions of glib and gdk-pixbuf in use, add tar and use it after installation so that xz unpacking works even on Tiger

cb26f1eed4 The installer will now create a link to the program in /usr/local/bin to allow starting from the command line. If the installer or uninstaller is not running as root, they will now attempt to use both sudo and su to get root access. This means double click install now works on systems that don't have sudo installed or configured.

c9907c647d Implement special BPM and free-wheeling control ports. 
Input control ports with lv2:hasProperty http://lv2plug.in/ns/ext/time#beatsPerMinute or http://lv2plug.in/ns/lv2core#freeWheeling will be automatically set by Ardour accordingly.

f5f3e9d734 Installer now handles i18n of the Desktop folder. Running the installer or uninstaller as root work correctly and does not invalidate the sanity checks. Corrected method used to detect if the installer is already running in a visable terminal.
